The fish used is caught in the clear waters around Iceland, which then undergoes a special process fueled by the natural energy from Iceland’s hot springs, which has been perfected that enables water to be extracted from the fish, which is then dried for 40-50 hours at the sort of temperatures one would expect to find on a normal British autumn day. This gentle handling is a long way from the high temperatures normally used in pet food processing and it allows the valuable nutrients, omega fatty acids and proteins found naturally in fish to be kept intact.

The finished treat has a great texture that allows cats and dogs to crunch, which is ideal for keeping teeth clean – giving rise to the ‘Crunch and Clean’ tag line used on pack – while still retaining that distinctive fishy aroma that pets love. Made in a wheat free environment where only fish products are the order of the day, the treat is sure to be ideal for dogs and cats that are sensitive to gluten or for those with allergies to other (non-fish) animal proteins.
